Since 2023, all our nurseries have been equipped with LED lighting. It took some time to discover the perfect cultivation recipe, but last winter we finally found the ideal balance to maintain our high quality standards. With a harmonious composition of light tones, precise climate control, and nutritional enrichment, we are able to deliver beautiful chrysanthemums even in the winter months.

The roofs of all our warehouses have solar panels, which together generate an average of 600 kilowatts of energy per hour. This renewable energy largely drives our production process. This is an important step towards a greener future.

Linflowers previously used pre-cooling, but this failed to generate the desired results. The flowers did not get cold enough. Consequently, we were looking for a way to optimise this, so that the flowers retain their quality even better.

We are currently introducing: the vacuum cooler! This is like a container that creates a complete vacuum. This vacuum process allows the flowers to release their heat naturally. It is a complex process, but the results are stunning. Within half an hour, we can cool from 20 degrees down to 5 degrees. Moreover, after a few tests, we found that the flowers came out of the cooler much drier. This was so impressive that we decided to invest in the vacuum cooler at our other locations.”

Since 2021, Linflowers has provided housing for our foreign professionals, right on our premises. This prevents inconvenience in the village centres and enables our team members to live close to their place of work. Each cottage, designed for two people, has individual bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms. This allows us to guarantee maximum comfort and privacy for our professionals.
